Mycoplasma pneumoniae IgM rapid detection kit (MP)

Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) is a common pathogen of respiratory tract infection, especially in children. It can cause a variety of respiratory diseases, such as Mycoplasma pneumonia, pharyngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, etc. Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection can also cause systemic multisystem damage:
① urinary system diseases, such as acute nephritis, nephritic nephropathy, etc.;
② Nervous system diseases, such as meningoencephalitis, aseptic meningitis, peripheral neuritis, transverse myelitis, cerebral infarction, etc.
③ Cardiovascular system injury, such as myocarditis, pericarditis, and even cardiac failure.
④ It is also related to blood system diseases, sports system diseases, skin and mucous membrane damage, etc. The detection of Mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody is of great significance for the early clinical diagnosis of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection. The diagnostic rate can be improved by simultaneous determination of IgG and IgM antibodies.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody is divided into Ig antibody and IgM antibody. Because the incubation period of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection is 2-3 weeks, when patients appear symptoms and go to the hospital, IgM antibody has reached a very high level. Therefore, IgM antibody positivity can be used as a diagnostic indicator of acute infection. If IgM antibody is negative, Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection cannot be denied, and IgG antibody needs to be detected. IgG appears later than IgM, which needs dynamic observation.
